Artist Statement

My artwork is a communication device. It communicates what I enjoy and what I may have experience from day to day. I create and produce images that show what I have experienced when I’m enjoying a hobby, my surroundings, and family moments. I capture things with a camera, that express laughter and tranquility. Although some are natural and some staged. Whether it is a hobby, some family moment, or our natural surroundings, these things just might brighten someone’s day. That’s why I make art and share it with the world.

Bio

Dennis A. Waring is a 2001 graduate of Holly Hill-Roberts High School and is currently an SC State University senior majoring in Studio Art: Photography & Printmaking .
